National traning: Subsequent drug use risks - TB and HIV/AIDS. Prevention, communication and interventions.

A national tranning: "Subsequent drug use risks - TB and HIV/AIDS. Prevention, communication and interventions" took place on Octomber 17 and 18, 2013 year. It was directed to the medical staff and social workers in prisons and probation services. The trainnig had a national coverage, and it was important for us due the TB situation to involve representatives from these institution from North and North-West region.

The trainnig is part of the project "Empowering the public health system and civil society in the fight against TB epidemic among vulnerable groups /TUBIDU/." The project goal is prevention of IDU- and HIV-related TB epidemic through empowerment of health systems and civil society and to enhance collaboration of various stakeholders in the field in order to prevent TB.

The trainig took place in hotel "Atagen" - Burgas and there were 40 representatives from probation services and prisons from different towns in Bulgaria /Vidin, Silistra, Montana, Yambol, Boychinovtzi, Dobrich, and many others/.
